Or maybe you just really love that classic and lovely look and want to grow yours as long as you can. One of the best ways that you can ensure longer, stronger, and healthier locks is by taking a closer look at how you treat your hair on a daily basis. It is probably time to make a few changes and to revamp your hair care routine because most people don’t actually treat their hair that well. Between the heat, styling, blow drying, and improper brushing, you can really do some damage. Treat yourself to some better and more quality products to protect your hair and nourish it with what it really needs. This includes shampoo, conditioner, heat protectant, leave in conditioner, hair spray, the whole line up. Consult with your stylist to find the best salon grade product for you. Trust us, the money you spend on products that are actually good for your hair will come back to you in happier and healthier hair.

 

Try to be more gentle with your hair even after you switch to better products. Make sure that you are extra soft with your hair when it is wet, and always brush from the bottom up. Top down brushing through knots is a great way to break off and pull out your hair.

 

It is a good idea to look at what you are eating and doing everyday because those things also affect how healthy and strong your hair is. Try to eat a variety of foods from all the different food groups, and if you don’t get all the nutrients from your diet that you may need, take a multivitamin to help augment your diet. These nutrients will help your hair grow and grow well.

 

When it comes to what you are doing and your daily routine, take note of simple things like if your purse strap pulls on your hair regularly. Simple things like this can pull out or break off your hair on the one side that you usually wear your purse, causing thinness and definitely not helping you get your longest hair.
